For wildlife lovers a visit to Filey and Flamborough Head for the surrounding nature reserves.

North Bay has a blue flag beach and is much more tranquil and houses the Scarborough Sea Life centre, indoor pool, BMX park, Peasholme Park and the Open Air Theatre.
Situated on the North Bay, this purpose built aquarium is home to many typesof fish, mammals and sea creatures. The prime aim of Sea Life is to ensure that all visitors get the full experience with many hands-on and interactive exhibits, whilst stil maintaining their priority of conservation, rescue and research.
The smaller seaside town of Bridlington is further down the coast, on the other side of Flamborough Head, and is very much a traditional seaside resort with a fishing harbour, plenty of amusement arcades, restaurants and a small fun fair.
If the weather turns then a visit to Bridlington Leisure World, an indoor water park with slides, wave pool and rains storm.
