There are four family caravan parks between Scarborough and Bridlington, two of the most popular holiday resorts in the North of England and easily reached from all four caravan parks, and all with access to the stunning beaches.
Further north, along the coast there are many quaint seaside villages to explore, leading to Whitby the home of Captain Cook and the world famous fish and chip restaurant, Magpie Cafe. Venture inland and a short drive away is the North York Moors, National Park with it's steam railways, walking and cycling rtrails. Here you can also visit Goathland, most famous as it's alter ego, Aidensfield, from the popular TV series Heartbeat. An hours drive away is the magnificent city of York, with the towering cathedral, medieval streets, roman walls and museums, plus great shopping.
Between Bridlington and Hull we have a further five holiday parks, all with family pools, kids clubs and entertainment. with easy access to Hull and the Humber estuary. Below the estuary and near the traditional seaside town of Cleethorpes lie another two parks.

Yorkshire’s industrial heritage is long, and the county was at the heart of the Industrial Revolution. As a result, Yorkshire’s landscape is dotted with historic canals, steam railways and Victorian architecture that speak of the level of industry involved. Coal mining in Yorkshire has its place in the history books, and tours are available, 140m below the surface, at the National Coal Mining Museum, located just outside Wakefield.
Even the kids will get a kick out of Yorkshire; many of the museums have kid friendly exhibits, science parks and learning centres that range from pyrotechnics to dinosaurs. If animals are more their thing, check out the range of petting zoos ready for them to explore. Even the rain can’t make them miserable; Yorkshire has many covered activities to offer from pottery to a real snow indoor slope there’s really no excuse not to visit at any time of year!
Further down the coast in Humberside there's Hull's The Deep, which is a spectacular aquarium with over 3.500 fish in 30 plus sections, a marina and museums. Grimsby is a well known fishing port and the Fishing Heritage Centre is located here. Cleethorpes is the place where families can experience a classic English seaside resort, with long sandy beaches, a theme park and a choice of caravan holiday parks.
Scarborough offers a traditional family holiday and a base to explore further afield to Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby and Sandsend.
